The annual, private auction by the Dave Cockrum Estate is conducted under the auspices of the SIDEKICK Foundation, which was founded to aid comics creators in need. Current funds are earmarked to continue funding the Gene Colan Scholarship and the Dave and Paty Cockrum Scholarship, awarded annually to students at the Joe Kubert School for Comic Art. Thanks to our patrons Stan Lee, Harlan Ellison, Neal Adams, Bill Sienkiewicz, Bob McLeod, Ted Adams (IDW Publishing), Randy Bowen and many other friends for signing and/or generously donating items for this auction.
